Subject: ESAS mos_back selects no CCDs
Full_Name: Kevin Briggs
Submission from: (NULL) (90.26.239.229)

Task: mos_back
SASv: 9.0.0
Syst: Mac OSX 10.4.11 on 2 GHz PowerPC G5 with 1 GB DDR SDRAM

Dear Helpdesk

When I run mos_back, the output log reports:

CCD selection 0 0 0 0 0 0 0

even though the parameters ccd1 etc (excepting ccd6) are set to 1 in the input
command.

This problem was reported in (SASv9.0) 41486 by Pierro Ranalli (Follow up 2,
July 2009), but it is not clear what action resulted from that or whether the
problem was solved, a workaround was found etc.

The first line of the log file makes clear that the parameters were recognised
correctly. Does the task then perform some checks or file searches before
confirming and reporting the ccd selection?

Command used:

mos_back prefix=1U002 diag=2 elow=300 ehigh=1000 ccd1=1 ccd2=1 ccd3=1 ccd4=1
ccd5=1 ccd6=0 ccd7=1 caldb="/usr/local/sas/ccf/esas" >& mos_back_m1.log

Kind regards
Kevin
