I have always preferred to get OM data by using the very simple Product tool
from http://xsa.esac.esa.int:8080/aio/doc/index.html
rather than going through the slow XSA applet.
However I now realise (from Antonio) that the products in this web page are from
an ancient version of the SAS. There doesn't seem to be an updated version.
Would it be possible to point this product tool to the new versions?
Thanks

Dear Alice,

we are sorry for the confusion, since about 5 months the XSA (including AIO) has
been completely refurbished (see http://xmm.esac.esa.int/xsa/). Only the last
XSA versions point to the re-processed data, the old XSA will be disconnected
soon.

The new AIO web page is http://nxsa.esac.esa.int/nxsa-web/#aio. If you were
using the URL access you can now replace it by, for instance:
http://nxsa.esac.esa.int/nxsa-sl/servlet/data-action-aio?obsno=0505720401&instname=OM&level=PPS

Please inform me if you have a special need that you do not see how to get.

Best regards,

Nora

Dear Nora,
Yes I have looked at these pages, thank you.
The thing that has gone is the product tool. If you go to this page
(http://xsa.esac.esa.int:8080/aio/doc/index.html), click on AIO Product
Tool and then just go through very simply clicking on what kind of data
you want. It's very easy to select just the OM data. I don't find the
new version nearly so straight forward to use because you have to
remember how to set up the URL.

Dear Alice,

many thanks for your comments, what is missing is an interface like
the old one. We are requesting to have similar interfaces for the new AIO,
but in the meantime the AIO web page has examples that can be copied and
edited.
On the other hand we have now much more flexibility with the "name"
parameter, you can search by file name (87 possibilities) while
before you could only choose one of the names available in the interface.
For instance now you can choose to download the OM files *FIMAG_* of the
observation 0677630101 using the link:
http://nxsa.esac.esa.int/nxsa-sl/servlet/data-action-aio?obsno=0677630101&instrument=OM&name=FIMAG_

Best regards,

Nora
