Subject: spectral type in XRPS
					      Friday September 26, 2003
Hi,
what should I enter as spectral type in the XRPS form for an AGN?
Any type would work?

If I may add a comment, I would like to say that it is surprising that
after so many years this spectral type "thing" is still there, in the RPS
and the handbood, haunting the many people not observing a star.
Once again I would recommend adding a few power-law/brehmstralung options,
especially for what concerns the UHB, and the guidelines for the OM.

Thanks.
All the best,

 		Giovanni

I see that you already submitted your proposal, as you know the spectral
type for AGN is irrelevant, as their magnitudes are always too weak to
produce optical loading. We will take into account your suggestion to
clarify this point in the next issue of XRPS, suggesting what type to
put in these cases.

Best regards,

Nora
