Hi,
I am trying to perform barycentric correction and I constantly get the following
error.
** barycen: error (InvalidCompoundName), I seem to be looking for a block named
pn_bc.fits in a dataset called pn_bc.fits and I could not find it. Most likely
you failed to specify append a ':' to pn_bc.fits

I copied the PN event file to pn_bc.fits and tried performing barycentric
correction with the following
barycen table=pn_bc.fits

Lalitha

Hello,

please, note that you must set the extension name to apply the correction in the
input parameter table for the barycen task and not only the filename.

Then, please try

barycen table=pn_bc.fits:EVENTS
