Hi - Is it possible to get the SAS source code? This used to be possible. I'd
like to examine some of the tasks to see what algorithm is being used.

Thanks

Jeremy

Dear Dr. Sanders,

You are right that it is generally available, but there were some recent updates
in the SAS installation and the code will be again available next week.
I will keep you informed,

Best regards,

Nora

Dear Jeremy,

here is the SAS source code, not yet in the web...

The tgz with the source code of SAS 16.1.0, with GPL licenses, is:

/sasbuild/build/sasbld02n/GNU_CC_CXX_6.2/PKG_20170719_1539/SOC/gplsource/sas_16.1.0-gplsrc.tgz

It uses ~2GB.

Best regards,

Nora

Dear Nora

Thanks - is it possible for me to get access to this directory? I assume
it's on ESA's systems?

Thanks

Jeremy

Dear Jeremy,

Sorry for the time passed in coming back to you.

The SAS source code that you requested can be downloaded with anonymous ftp as:
ftp ssh.sciops.esa.int
cd pub/eojero
get sas_16.1.0-gplsrc.tgz

Please inform me if you cannot get it.

Best regards,

Nora
