Dear Rosario,

Thank you for the quick reply. In the meanwhile I installed SAS 16 and
updated
the CCFs and that seem to solve the problem, however, I get a new,
different error.

Here is the result of running backscale on attached file

Dear Eric,

I am afraid I cannot reproduce your error.

Could you please tell me which is your operating system, and which binary have
you downloaded?

Thanks

Rosario

Dear Eric,

It seems that for Sierra a different binary is more appropriate, see

https://www.cosmos.esa.int/web/xmm-newton/sas-download

Could you try and install sas_16.0.0-Darwin-16.3.0-64.tgz?

Rosario
