Hello,

I have been tryigng to analyse the Cen X-3 XMM data using sas (command line) and
I am stuck on the epaplot as when I run it, it gives me:
epatplot:- epatplot 1.19 is running...
epatplot:- SRCPOSX attribute not found
epatplot:- SRCPOSY attribute not found

and then doesn't make any progress. It's still processing by what I can see but
it doesn't move further or produce any files.

I am sorry if this question was asked before. I wasn't able to find it. I will
be happy if you just link me to the past answers.

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,
Shweta.

Dear Shweta,

to be able to reproduce the issue, we would need more information.

Can you please:
1) Let us know the ObsID
2) Send us the log of all the commands of your data reduction, including the
epatplot that failed.

Thank you,
Kind regards
Simone

setup?

E.g., I see that it cannot find a CCF file (Could not open file
'EPN_QUANTUMEF_0018.CCF' for reading
in: /xmm/ccf/public-beforeSAS15)

Thank you
kind regards
Simone

Dear Simone,

In the end I updated my CCFs and redid the analysis and it worked. Many
thanks for your help and sorry for the trouble.

Regards,
Shweta.
