Dear "Helpdesk",

While studying for a physics degree with the Open University, I am
currently undertaking a small project, which involves the use of SAS to
look at XMM Newton data in M31. I am working on the data, but with some
problems due to doing this mostly on my own.

My question is, would I be eligible to attend the SAS workshop in June
2004, or do you have to be "officially" linked to an educational institution?

Next... what is the cost to attend the workshop, and what does this include?

Thank you for this information,

Regards,
Carol Tonkin

Dear Carol,

1. everybody can attend the VILSPA SAS Workshops, indepedently on her/his
official link(s) to an official research institution

2. there is no participation fee for the SAS Workshops. However, be aware that
ESA does not provide any financial support for either the travel or the
accomodation.

If you are interested to join the June 2004 Workshop, fill as soon as possible
the pre-registration form at:
http://xmm.vilspa.esa.es/external/xmm_user_support/sas_workshop4/index.shtml.
There are still a few places left!

 Matteo Guainazzi
