Hi, 

Is it possible to calculate a *monochromatic* flux from an OM (UVW2) 
observation?  For example, at the peak wavelength of the filter?

Dear Luigi,

please have a look at the SAS watchout tip "how can I convert OM count rates 
into fluxes" at:

http://xmm.vilspa.esa.es/sas/documentation/watchout/uvflux.shtml

If you know the spectral type of your star you can use the table in Method 2, 
if not it is recomeneded to asume type "White dwarf". The peak wavelength of
the filter is 212nm.
