Subject: A OM analisis problem
Hello,

I tried to reduce OM data.
I followed the instructions of the cookbook "An introduction to XMM-Newton
analysis" NASA/GSFC.
So I prepared data in my directory. Then I started SAS. I created ccf.cif
using cifbuild. I created a summary file of my ODF using odfingest.

When I have to use omprep I don't find THX files.
On my working directory there are *OMS*IMI.FIT, *OMS*WDX.FIT,
*OMS*NPH.FIT, *OMS*PEH.FIT, *SCX*ATS.FIT*, *SCX*SUM.ASC* and *SCX*SUM.SAS
files, but there are not *OMS*THX.FIT files?

Do you know where is my error?

The observation number is 0111570101. This is an observation of
MCG-6-30-15. The PI is Jelle Kaastra.
 
I am trying to reduce the data in the step by step mode.
This kind of reduction is recommended in the NASA/GSFC cookbook.

OM tracking history file data have a file name ending with 
a ``THX.FIT".
Generally one file is present for each exposure, except when 
tracking was explicitly switched off, or when no suitable 
stars for tracking were found in the reference frame at the 
beginning of the exposure. This can also occur when certain 
instrument modes (engineering modes) or when some  filter
elements (e.g. grisms) are used.

The task omprep generate intermediate files which use 
tracking history files information.  If no tracking history 
file was produced, these files are generated on the fly 
assuming perfect stable pointing.

In case there is no THX file, then set=DUMMYTHX.FIT. The 
task omprep will generate a dummy file needed for the rest 
of the chain, with zero drift in it.
