Hello,
I am trying to get light curves in different energy bands using xmmextractor.
Firstly, I run the default xml with just the instrument I need, and then I want
to re-run xmmextractor but just from analysisoption="5:epic_lightcurve".
However, the xmmextractor.err says "ERROR - Analysis option not recognized".
Also, I would like to change the name of the outputs, is there any way to change
just the names of the light curves?

Best regards,
Elena

Dear Elena,

first of all, apologies for the late reply.

Thank you for spotting an error in the parameter handling
(analysisoption="5:epic_lightcurve" -->
does not work). The SAS team will fix the problem asap. It will not be ready for
the next SAS release,
but it will probably be released as a patch soon after the release.

Regarding the file names. xmmextractor does not allow the user to change the
file names. The SAS
team took note and they will likely add this feature for the next SAS release.

Kind regards
Simone
