Dear Madame/Sir,
I am trying to use the rsync command in order to synchronise my local
CCF database with that at xm.vilspa.esa.es . Since I am working within
the firewall of my institute I need the port number used by rsync to
access the remote system xmm.vilspa.esa.es . That number will allow my
system managers to open the firewall and to make rsync working.

Thank you very much for your help.

Best Regards,

   Gianluca  Israel

Dear Gianluca,

Apparently we are using the default port number for rsync connections, i.e.,
873. It can be checked with

rsync -vv xmm.vilspa.esa.es::

Sincerely,

Pedro
