Hi,
I was wondering if there were any metrics on the average observation
length (exposure time) and slew distance between targets for a given year.
Or where the pertinent information to calculate these numbers might be
on the XMM website. Thanks for any help with this matter.

Anil

Dear Anil,

The average pointing duration for XMM-Newton during AO3 (the current observing
period) is 32.9 ksec.

The average maneuver length is 57 minutes.

Let me know if you need any further information.

Regards

                      Rosario Gonzalez-Riestra
