Hi,
    I have a simple question about the MODE of the observation. Which keyword is
used to denote the full-frame mode or full-frame-extended mode? Where can I find
the defination? Thanks a lot!!

Dear Shikui Tang,

in processed pn event list in the EVENTS FITS file extension you find the
following keywords (also called attributes):

in case of pn full frame mode:
SUBMODE = 'PrimeFullWindow'
FRMTIME = 73 / [ms] Frame Time, nearest integer

for pn extended full frame mode:
SUBMODE = 'PrimeFullWindowExtended'
FRMTIME = 199 / [ms] Frame Time, nearest integer

you can get additional info on header keywords in the SSC document:

http://xmmssc-www.star.le.ac.uk/pubdocs/SSC-LUX-SP-0004.ps.gz

and in the SAS online documentation:
- go to Reference documentation (Meta Index)
- then to Index of Attributes, or directly to

http://xmm.vilspa.esa.es/sas/current/doc/idxAttributes.html

Cheers,
Matthias
