Subject: Re: XSA notification: data available from your XSA account 'vkashyap' (Observation: '0151450101').
Hello,

I downloaded the data, and after setting the appropriate
environment variables and running cifbuild and odfingest,
ran emproc. Looking at the output images, which ended up
in files
	0628_0151450101_EMOS1_S001_ImagingEvts.ds
	0628_0151450101_EMOS1_U002_ImagingEvts.ds
	0628_0151450101_EMOS2_S002_ImagingEvts.ds
	0628_0151450101_EMOS2_U002_ImagingEvts.ds
have data from chips 2-7, and are missing the central chip.

There appear to be no problems with the PN data[*], which shows
the target source exactly where it should be.

Any idea what is going on, and how I can get to the data on
the MOS chips?

Thanks,
Vinay

Dear Vinay,

PN was in Small Window mode, therefore there is an image for your object in PN.
The MOSs were in Timing mode, therefore the central CCD has no image. In any
case, in order to obtain the timing data properly emproc
should be used with parameters withsrccoords, srcra, and srcdec. Please
consult the SAS Tasks documentation in:
http://xmm.vilspa.esa.es/external/xmm_sw_cal/sas_frame.shtml

With best regards,

Nora
