Dear XMM helpdesk,

I have read policies and procedures document, and the user's manual for XMM
regarding unanticipated ToOs. I have found the webpage for alerting XMM to such
a ToO, but need to know what happens once I hit 'Continue' -- I am a potential
1st time user with an unprecedented event, and want to make sure I have all the
necessary materials to follow through on the ToO alert page. Can you let me
know what exactly will be needed? A full template proposal as if 'anticipated'
ToO? Or same as GO?

Thank you for any guidance, Jay

Dear Dr. Farihi,

After clicking on "Continue" you will be prompted to another page where
you will get info on the visibility of your target and you will be requested
to enter more info, like the expected flux, and a short justification of your
request. Only when you finish this you can click on "Alert us" and we (the
XMM-Newton SOC") will react asking more questions if needed, or consulting the
Project Scientist and scheduling it.

Best regards,

Nora
