Dear Sir/Madam
I am great interest in Fe k alpha line in AGN,and i want to
do some spectral fitting work in the 2-10 band. However,i have never
encounter such task, can u give me some advice and the steps to enter
the 'XMM world'? thank alot.
                                      best regards

Dear Huang Wei,

I imagine that you have data extracted from the XMM-Newton archive, XSA.
In that case if you chosed PPS products, those are data already reduced and
calibrated, therefore you can analyse the spectra directly following the
corresponding step by step thread at:

 http://xmm.vilspa.esa.es/external/xmm_sw_cal/sas_frame.shtml

Best regards,

Nora
