Subject: XMM-Newton Science Archive
Dear Madams and Sirs,

I am interested in the archival XMM data from observation 0012850101
(PI John Mulchaey) and have downloaded the public data from the archive.
In the summary of observations 2 exposures per EPIC camera are indicated
and indeed 2 event lists for each MOS camera are produced from the emchain
command. However, only one eventlist from one exposure is produced from
the epchain command.
I have checked that the merged MOS event lists indeed cover a much longer
time range than the PN data so I do not think that both exposures are
already combined in the PN PPS data.
Is there the possibility that the data files of the second PN exposure has
been forgotten in preparing the archive data? If yes, could you please
provide me with the relevant files? If I, alternatively, might have
forgotten to give any special parameter while running the epchain, could
you please tell me how I can produce the event list for the second
exposure?
