Hi Matthias,

I download the ODF data again from XSA, and it works! I can create MOS events 
files right now. The data with problems were got from Goddard a couple months 
ago. By the way, the production data from XSA are not updated and no events 
files are included.

Hello Hua,

Good to read that your problem could be solved now.

I have contacted the archive scientist on why the pipeline processing
apparently failed to create the MOS products. Thanks for flagging this.

just for info; MOS products for exposures M1S001 and M2U003 of ObsID
0500070501 are now available in the XMM-Newton Science Archive.
