Submission from: (NULL) (193.147.152.102)

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have send an E-mail to Lucia Ballo (xmmpi@sciops.esa.int) a few days ago but
have not received an answer. This is why I contact now the help desk.

For the simultaneous observations with HESS and XMM-Newton of Sgr A* I
calculated how much time both instruments and how much simultaneous time were
taken in the March/April 2019 window as indicated in the proposal (83180).

The total observation time of XMM-Newton amounts to 169800 seconds (47.2h).

However, due to several constraints to total simultaneous time of both
instruments amounts to 78108 seconds (22.8h).

In the proposal we asked for 37.5h of simultaneous time and we further gave in
the proposal possible observation windows during the XMM revolutions: 3613,
3622, and 3623. May I ask if further XMM-Newton observations will be scheduled
for the proposal in that revolutions?

Best regards,

Dorit Glawion

Dear Dorit,

Lucia is currently on leave. I have checked the our internal plan and the
remaining five XMM observations of your programme are expected to be scheduled
in revolutions 3613 (2 obs), 3622 (2 obs), and 3623 (1 obs). We also have the
start and stop times of the H.E.S.S. observations so that we can overlap.

The observations in 3613 will be likely scheduled early next week. As usual you
will receive an automatic notification when that happens.

Best regards,
Jacobo
