If I propose an observation with PN in Small Window mode, does that mean MOS is
also in Small Window mode?

(I would like to have MOS in Full Frame alongside PN in Small Window)

I read in the handbook (p7) that the instruments can all be operated
independently.

However on the proposal RPS system, after choosing EPIC as the prime instrument
there is only a single choice of mode, with no separate choices for PN and MOS.

Hello,

in the current stage of proposal submission only the mode of the prime
instrument is to be set. If the proposal is approved by OTAC, the modes of all
instruments will have to be set in a second phase, using a different system.
Then, different modes for different EPIC cameras can be selected.

Cheers,

Pedro
